Our daffodils are blooming and the forsythia, too. Can you believe it? 2009 is over half in the past. Kids are gearing up for the return to school, including my miss Lillian who becomes a big kindergartener!  Day 1 of the New Year and I'm off to a rockin' start: Said "rabbit" at the strike of mid-night. Check! Burning a bayberry candle. Check! Doing a load of laundry. Check! I still have to walk down a flight of stairs backwards, but rest assured, I will before mid-night comes. So, all of my New Year's Day traditions (and a few superstitions) are nearly complete.
